Get connected

If you choose to engage in care with me following a 15 minute consultation, the first session will be primarily focused on getting an understanding of your symptoms and needs. Knowing we just met, there is no expectation that you share more than you are comfortable with. We will, together, establish initial treatment goals.

Treatment

This is the “meat and potatoes”. We will work toward achieving the set treatment goals. This will be through use of primarily DBT and CBT skills and processing. Some will elect to meet weekly, others bi-weekly, depending on need and scheduling.

Maintenance

You’ve finally got comfortable and then it ends?! Not to worry, for those who are already established as a Latte Talk Therapy client, this describes a phase of treatment that consists of spread out “check ins” or “triage”. Some may use these sessions to discuss difficulties that took place since last time we met. Others may do a quarterly check in to stay connected and refresh on any skills that might be helpful.
